Yoga Therapy
Yoga-based therapy at Good Life blends movement, breath, and physical therapy principles to help reduce pain, restore balance, and improve daily function.
What Is it?
Yoga therapy integrates physical therapy principles with traditional yoga practices to support healing, balance, and whole-body connection. It emphasizes breath, alignment, and mindful movement, and is tailored to your physical condition. This approach is particularly helpful for chronic pain, stress management, and nervous system regulation.
Our Approach
Yoga therapy at Good Life is not about poses for the sake of poses — it’s about helping your body heal through breath, alignment, and supported movement. We design each treatment to your needs, using yoga as one of our therapeutic tools to ease tension, build awareness, and improve function. For those with a regular yoga practice, this approach allows us to break down poses and transitions to avoid injury and further your recovery. We integrate yoga techniques and flows with traditional PT delivered one-on-one in a calm, healing environment.
Conditions We Treat
Yoga therapy integrates breath and movement to support musculoskeletal, nervous system, and emotional wellness and recovery.
Conditions Commonly Treated:
• Chronic low back pain
• Tension headaches
• Pelvic floor dysfunction
• Anxiety-related tension
• Breathing or postural imbalances
What Can I Expect
Your first session begins with a full assessment of your body in a calm and collaborative environment. After identifying your symptoms and stressors, we design a treatment plan that will include guided breathwork, selected postures and poses, supportive strengthening and stretching, and hands on guidance. We guide poses and short flows, but pause through the progressions to offer guidance as you progress. You’ll be supported through each session with clear instruction, consent, and space to ask questions.

Additional FAQs
Is yoga therapy physically demanding?
Just the right amount! We adapt each session to your body and condition. Some sessions are restorative; others may gently build strength and mobility.
Can I still benefit if I’m not flexible?
Absolutely. Yoga therapy is about connecting with your body and improving how you feel — not forcing certain shapes.
